Join the bench
Mycela places entrepreneurial operators inside science-heavy teams, closing the gap between promising climate and conservation science and the organizations that can scale it.
Who we're looking for
People who build first and ask permission later. If you consider yourself a generalist problem solver who thrives in ambiguity and complexity, comfortable moving between strategy and execution without waiting for a playbook, you're likely a good fit.
Built things from scratch: Multiple ventures, products, or organizations, with at least two distinct builds in different contexts.
Operated as a generalist: Across functions and sectors, spanning operations, product, strategy, partnerships, or program management.
Worked without a net: Navigated unfamiliar or resource-constrained environments: a different country, culture, or organization type, without existing relationships.
Shipped real outcomes: Concrete and describable: specific things you made, launched, closed, or delivered.
Operators who have been through an engagement (or four), in their own words.
What you'll do
Across engagements, EIRs are typically leading proof of concepts, go-to-market strategy, customer discovery, business plan building, and financial modeling.
Projects are global and span both public and private organizations working on climate and conservation, including some of the largest NGOs in the world.
